Very unique choice of material! I like how you transformed a very dull, unpolished material into a very appealing end product. I think it is very impressive that you were able to cut out your initials into the top of the box using a router, especially without the use of a guide. How heavy is the box? It is very hard to tell and I am not overly familiar with the material, but Id imagine it being similar to granite. Good job!!

I like that you used your initials as a way to sign your work. I also worked with my dad in construction over the summer, so I understand the want to continue that with the project. The only thing is that I wish you had been able to bring it in, but I understand that it is heavy and awkward to bring.

  • This is some great handy work, and the aesthetic looks great. That looks nicer than something I could of grabbed at the store. good work!

Never heard of the material Corian before, thanks for introducing it. I can see it be pretty functional as being light. It is always a good idea to make something functional that you can use.The way you engraved your initials on the box make it look special and the color is attractive with a special looking texture on the outer part of the material.
