Main Project Aspirations: Wine Coffee Table

For my main project I would like to construct a piece of furniture that stores wine bottles. I will be trying to achieve the vineyard aesthetic by using oak wood, or wood that is stained to a similar color, wine boxes possibly, rod iron, the steel hoops that hold wine barrels together and other material such as cork. Ideally I would it to store wine bottles and also be translucent so you can see the contents from the top or sides possibly. The dynamic aspect of the project will be sliding drawers and other doors for storage. I have thought about making a side table or coffee table but am also open to other unique ideas such as making a secret drawer that can be installed underneath kitchen cabinets. My design is really dependent on the size and shape of the wine bottle and how many bottles I would like to store. Here a few pictures I will be using as inspiration but I would like to create something unique. I also really like the idea of using recycled wood such as old shipping pallets so I may incorporate that into my design.

Really cool idea of having a multi purpose table. So the picture shown in the feature image shows that it doesnt have much space to put things on the table, how are you planning to do it?
Anyway, the dynamic aspect being sliding drawers would make it really cool specially if there is glass that covers the bottles so you can still see whats inside

Faisal, yes I need to choose a design that allows for more of a table surface. I really would be aiming for one of the three lower pictures that are rectangular and more table like.

I like the idea of a piece of furniture that doubles as storage. Adding the bottles of wine also helps complete the aesthetic. The tables that include the wine boxes in them are really cool, gives the table an authentic feel.
