I’m glad you built in a week to get materials. It can often take longer than one might think to get your hands on parts, especially if they are not carried at a local store or must be ordered. I’m sure the refining week is also a buffer for any unfinished worked or delays. The timeline looks good to me.

This seems like a very solid timeline. Often times people don’t give themselves enough time to source materials which can be very difficult/time consuming so it’s good you have yourself a week. Refining the design as you build it is also a good idea.

  • Katie,

I’m excited to see where the direction will go for this. You should spend those 2 weeks you alloted to brainstorming, thinking about narrowing your scope and creating nice constraints…This may help you avoid scope creep in the future.

Do you have any experience building the new idea you have?
