Great project, especially in a functional regard. Your Dad will love it. With some extra coats of paint it will end up looking much more finished. I would love to see an updated version. Overall great job, and proof of concept.

I thought the combination of the Harley aesthetic with something like this worked really well. It’s not a combination I would have thought of, but it worked out. I wonder if you could make this out of a different material that would hold paint better. However, I think the 3D printer material felt cool, and the orange paint seemed to stick to it just fine.

The fact that you designed your project for your dad adds another amazing dimension to your project. How thoughtful and what a brilliant use of a semester! you did a phenomenal job capturing the smooth-edged Harley shape especially with no physical model to base your design off of. Looking forward to seeing another coat of black paint. Good work!

Great project! I like the integration of the Harley theme with your Dad for a Father’s Day gift! The black and orange paint work really well to show the Harley aesthetic, and the rounded form matches the Harley body very well. Nice job!

The case looks good! Good model paint can be found at McGuckin’s, it would probably stick better to the material. Would you consider using a screen that displays the heart rate instead of the three lights?

  • This was a cool project. I like the harley theme, that is something we haven’t seen before. The orange and black looks sleek, but you should look into chrome accents.

Also, you should try to add a logo to it so that it looks more realistic.
