What a cool project. The Edison bulb really brought the piece together. I think that you should add a secret compartment to the project so that you can have a little secret with the furniture you made. Great job!

I really like how the overall design of the lamp came together. It looks indistinguishable to some of the really expensive lamps of similar design on the market today.

Your project name is very unique and I thought it was a great choice and gave your project a bit more background. I like how you chose an edison style bulb, it really added to the modern theme even though they are quite dated. Possibly because you can clearly see the coils glowing and most lightbulbs have that white frost that hides them. It just appears modern especially with the white light fixture you used and stain color. Very unique project and I think it turned out great!

The aesthetic came out perfect! It looks like you changed a little from your original design, but I think the changes you made were for the best. The vintage light bulb, reclaimed looking wood, and minimalist shape all work very well together.

Hi Sara, These are some comments I had during your presentation
-dimmer is a nice touch, it’s cool that you took the time to fix it since expo
-I like the matte finish for your aesthetic
-maybe you could create a 3D printed cover for your socket to make it look a little more smooth
-the edison bulb is nice, I liked your explanation for how the bulb’s antiquity helped display the moderness of the rest of your project.
    Great job Sara!

I really like how the lamp came out! It was interesting to see how you chose your aesthetic and created your design, and then how you implemented the features of the lamp in the final version. If you chose to build another version of it, what other features or aesthetics would you modify? Where do you plan to keep the lamp now? I could see your design as is in a Crate and Barrel or some similar store 🙂 Great job!

This looks great! Really great job! I really like the Edison lightbulb you incorporated. Using an the old fashion lightbulb appeals to the people that like the vintage style and the rest keeps with your modern theme. It’s a really cool combination. Great job!

I really like how you were able to achieve the aesthetic that you were originally intended even after the redesign of your initial concept. I also like how you have an overall aesthetic in your bedroom and I think that this lamp fits perfectly with what you already have.

I absolutely love this . This is very much my aesthetic as well so I am a bit biased. It feels very warm and inviting perfect for a modern home !

Great work! I really like how you kept your aesthetic minimal but still modern. The fact that you iterated you’re design shows great ideation process and a nice final product. The Edison bulb gives it a special old look in addition to the modern look of the wood. Well done !
