Upcycle Progress/ Inspiration

My inspiration came from necessity. I simply was in need for a drawer and this project helped me make one with minimum cost. I already have the functionality of my project done. however, I am still working on the aesthetic part. I have three sides that can use some aesthetic design, and if anyone have a suggestion, then please feel free to help.

I already have all the materials i need and all the tools necessary to finish my final product.

I like how you took this opportunity to make something that you need. Making a drawer from cardboard is a great idea. However, I think you should be careful with your expectation on how much weight it can hold. Normal cardboard is not designed to hold heavy weight.

  • Hey Abdulaziz I like your idea of repurposing cardboard. I agree with Nicole I think painting the cardboard or somehow increasing the functionality of the drawer could improve the aesthetic. Have you considered adding handles to easily pull out a drawer? Overall great idea.

This is so creative and also has a great function to it! Aesthetic wise, you could paint it to make it look like wood and give it an industrial aesthetic or get really creative and paint it silver or galaxy-like to give it a space aesthetic.

I like that you were able to make something that has a use. Maybe for the 3 sides you can paint them or do some sort of print that you like. Is the photo of the boxes the completed project?
