Upcycle Project Progress

I have kept the switch panel project idea mentioned in my previous post. I am going to make it out of an old piece of HVAC duct. The duct sheet metal is perfect for the project because it is thin enough to be crafted using hand tools, but rigid enough for the final product to be sturdy and last.

I have also decided to further the old, utilitarian look achieved by the toggle switches by trying to mimic the aesthetic of a Russian airplane cockpit. The two primary ways this will be pursued is by painting the assembly with green/blue paint and by labeling the switches with embossed black and white labels.
