Skill Set and Personal Aspirations

I feel like the introduction project for this course went very well for me and I enjoyed working on it. My project had a fair amount of design and it was the most challenging part. I think this was because I did not manage my time well and did not have enough time or resources to account for all of the changes that I would have to make.

For my final project I would like to create another iteration of my introductory project. I believe that I will bring a great new design too and in a way that will refine the skills I feel I need to work on. Because of this I will make sure that my project incorporates a significant amount of machining and woodworking for a few reasons. First I believe that the need to use the machine shop will help me plan my time better and complete my design. I also want this project to be an instrument that I can actually play, and sound great so precision will be key.
