Project Aesthetics Compared to 20th Century Designs

My main project is to build a motorcycle-inspired heat rate sensor that you wear on your wrist which lights up if you are within a heartbeat range.  The case for my sensor is based on the gas tank on a motorcycle.  The design for this and for the gas tank follow the streamlining aesthetic.  The sleek, rounded edges allow for less drag on the bike, which helps the bike maintain speed easier and reduce the rate of fuel consumption.

Alternative Aesthetic Choices:

De Stiji

Art Noveau

Art Deco
