Main Project final stretch update

My final project has taken a slight turn in the fact that the original design had some flaws when i tried to bend the wood for my first iteration.

The second version of the design has all of the materials purchased for it and will begin manufacturing this week. After all of my cuts are made a layer of varnish will be applied and final assembly will begin. After this the project should be good to go.

That’s too bad you ran into problems but I’m glad you have it figured out and it seems like your have a good plan for getting it done. Excited to see how it turns out!

  • It sounds like you ran into some issues and it’ll come down to the last stretch. Did the wood break or crack when you tried to bend it? I recall you were going to soak it to get it soft first, right?
