This is such a cool idea, and it’s very functional. I’m impressed that you were able to implement this without modifying the snowboard in any way. I would love to see something similar applied to skis for my own selfish reasons.

  • This is something every skiboard needs to have! Maybe a phone holder, too? The balancing between holding the bottle and not dropping it on the holder is perfect, the red flame goes really well with a bottle of coke, too. Awesome project!
Great idea, fit nicely ,loos good with snowboard, commercial potential?

The development this project has had has been really sweet. I think pivoting away from streamers was probably a good idea. I think that the use of a vinyl sticker really helped give your project a clean aesthetic that may have been lost with streamers. Great job applying the mounting system in a manner that’s similar to existing snowboard bindings – that’ll help keep any necessary adjustments simple. Also the foam inside the cup holder was very smart. It holds the beverage and might even prevent it from getting shaken up. Great work!

Great project, and fantastic job finding an aesthetic and making it come to life! The clear goal of the project was to enhance your snowboard experience. This set up a great challenge, but your product did an awesome job of fulfilling the requirement. I also like your adjustment from the streamer (fins or flames) to use of a vinyl sticker that you designed and printer with your friend, that was a great idea to save time and money and truly personalize your project. The aesthetic seems pretty abstract to me, you know with flames on the cold, snowy mountain. Also, great job adapting to the standard size of a coke can. It is a really snug fit so the can won’t fall out, but it is easy to slide a can into the holder. It was awesome seeing your project on a snowboard at the expo, and thanks for bringing it in again to show the group in person. Overall, great job!!

What a great idea! I like the features of the cup, such as the ability to turn it upside down without the drink falling out. I like the chosen fire aesthetic. What led you to it? It was interesting to see how you built on your prototype to create the final project. The attachment mechanism to the board is a cool feature as well. Great job!

Really nice work with the cup holder and i love that it can be turned upside down and the can will still stay in. I think that the foam will help mitigate the shaking of the beverage while on the mountain. It is nice to see that the design is so simple and it will stay out of the way while you are riding. The venial striker adds a nice touch and it is super clean looking on the overall design. It is super smooth the way that it attaches and it would be cool to see it expanded to other snowboard mounting positions. I like the way that you included a picture of steamboat in the presentation because that is my hometown so perhaps i am biased to like you project more now.

Flames are super cool. Fire aesthetic is a very good choice. How much have you actually tested this product outside? The streamers will actually look very cool on the carrier. I like the way that you attached it to your board. It wont work for all boards but I think that it would be manageable to transfer the other kinds of boards.

I like your progression from the prototype to the final contraption. I think that the flames that are flying in the wind is a cool idea that you have represented on your prototype, however I think that the cup holder that you have created is really cool. The white background brings out your aesthetic, and I could definitely see this product being marketed in the coming years.
