Upcycle Presentation – Recreating the canon inspiration

For my upcycle project my inspiration actually comes from the random art sculptures I see around Denver. I look at the simplicity of them and how often times they represent a real world object/item with using very minimal materials. For example below is an image of two people dancing together but yet it is not in super detail. They are stick like and simple but you definitely get the concept of what they are.

My goal for the project is to take this same concept and apply it to creating a Canon EOS R camera. The camera is viewed below and it has a lot of detail but I want to re-create it using simple materials and design, so you can still tell what it is but also have that mystery. I am going to challenge myself and limit myself to a singular piece of cardboard and nothing else, no glue, no anything. I want to do this to really jump into the minimalism aspect of the idea. I am using the upcycle project as really a stepping stone to see if I would like to create the object out of metal or another material in a more professional manner one day.
