Ever think some electric car designs were lame or uninspired? Well in-person group 3 has come up with a solution. Our design features a futuristic race car look. The design features a sharp curves and a downward facing hood for good aerodynamics. The light bar in the middle is made out of acrylic and sanded down. The race car was made from cardboard cut from cardboard boxes and hot glued together. The hood itself was drawn out and cut from a card board box and then bent to fit the our design by hand below. My favorite part of the car is the dip at the center of the hood. If this car was being driven next to me on the road I am moving out of its way so it can do whatever it wants. Finally the “grill” of the car was designed through laser engraving — this was the piece that I was personally responsible for. I drew all these lines half of the lines shown on Solidworks and mirrored the rest it took me 3 hours haha.
