Modern Industrial Desk Organizer
My final project was a desk organizer designed around a modern industrial aesthetic, using both wood and metal elements. The main structure was built using plywood, which I assembled with wood screws to create a strong frame. I then added welded metal supports and brackets to reinforce the design and emphasize the industrial style on the 4 corners of the organizer. The organizer features clean geometric forms, including straight lines, rectangular compartments, and a simple, functional layout. After constructing the frame, I installed additional shelves and folder dividers to improve organization and usability. I used wood glue to fasten the folder organizers to the frame. To complete the look, I applied a walnut wood stain to give the piece a natural finish that contrasts with the exposed metal components.
