For the final project, I chose to dive into the maritime/nautical aesthetic. I decided to make a lazy Susan in the shape of a traditional captain’s wheel. The other two key elements that tied this piece to the aesthetic were the compass rose that I stained on the top and the wave design that I stained on the outside edges.
