This is my finished brutalist lamp! I am super happy with how it turned out! As you can see in the first two images there was a slight crack on the side of my lamp. I think the reason why is because I didn’t do a good enough job getting the air bubbles out of the concrete on my second pour. Despite the crack, the lamp is still very strong structurally and was pretty easy to bring to campus. I had a lot of fun at the showcase today, and loved seeing some of the other projects! Overall it was a great semester, and I am super happy with the projects I was able to turn in.
