My Spring 2026 Semester: In a Post!

Hello all!

Thank you for stopping by to look at my creations this Spring of 2026 semester. I have learned so much about crafting, iterating, fabric selection, and sewing techniques. My upcycle project was the start of it all, and for that I upcycled: scrap fabric for the lining, a zipper that was unused from a past project, and some old key rings for the strap attachment. The car project was a great opportunity to come together with a team and share our ideas on how to make our car vision come to life. And finally, my capstone project was a festival coat. I was really excited to make this because I have been wanting a custom coat for a long time so that I could bring something totally unique to wear on those chillier nights. I love how it came together. The texture of each fabric is so soft and luxurious, and the hood is perfectly oversized to accommodate hats or spirit hoods. Below, I will include some links to the Unrulr posts I have made throughout the semester. Feel free to comment if you feel inclined to share!

Thank you,

<3 Maryann Gorka
