Finally finished my cyberpunk inspired lamp! I am super happy with how it turned out! I was slightly concerned that the old metal containers I used to make the outside of the shade would be too thick to cut, but after going to home depot I found a great tool that made it super easy. I think that this design is a good mix of creating something that has a futuristic look, but is also made out of old materials. The tiny metal bucket that I found in the repurposed art store last week really helped bring the whole lamp together. Not only did it help create some stability around where it mounts near the lightbulb, it also allowed me to play with how much light got through. Overall, I had a lot of fun putting this together, and it is cool to see how much my design changed over the past month. Looking forward to the next project!
