What are the top 5 things you want your project to look like, to feel like, to do? What are the aspects that will tell you you’ve succeeded in your project? What are you prioritizing?
Next, what are the top 5 constraints you face? Time, money, skills, supplies, ideas, room to work? Which ones will be the toughest to deal with?
Top 5 wants
I want this to have a dark wood color to it
I spice rack to be structurally sound
I want the spice rack to be functional for a variety of kitchen objects
I want the spice rack to rotate seamlessly
I am prioritizing all of these, they are my non-negotiables. The hardest to deal with would be the concentric assembly to make it strictly sound but also not wobble or anything when being rotated, and items are stored on the top shelf.
Top 5 constraints
I do not have very much money for resources
I do not have experience with woodworking
I hurt my shoulder, which limited my time frame and ability
I have limited time due to other courses
There are tests and trials I need to perform before working on my project
The time aspect, since I had a very short time to learn a lot after tearing my shoulder.
