For this week, I mainly focused on building the tattoo machine’s circuit, which turned out to be a somewhat insignificant amount of time. With the senior design expo being this week, the vast majority of my time was spent in preparation for the expo. But I was able to design the simple circuit to be used in the tattoo machine and solder the components together for testing. The simple circuit consisted of the 3V-9V DC motor, a 9V battery, and a SPDT mini switch, all of which were wired in series. A schematic of the circuit can be viewed below.

You can see that the circuit is quite simple. The SPDT switch acts to complete the circuit between the negative terminal of the battery and the negative terminal of the motor.
