My project was to build a mechanical clock that conveyed minimalist aesthetic and clearly displayed it’s mechanism. I chose to build a clock because it demonstrates some interesting engineering concepts and clocks serve both a useful and aesthetic purpose. The mechanism is laid out in linearly so the observer can see the simplicity of the mechanism that is often obscured in more compact designs.
