Really nice design. I think you could probably use something other than a descender to attach the cables. Don’t forget about drainage and spacing the shelves apart enough so light can get to each plant.

  • Hi Morgan,
I really like your idea for the project! I like how much thought you put into the design phase of this project with the CAD and the research. I think this is going to be a great project and I’m excited to see the final result!

  • Your idea has a very modern aesthetic and I like that you thought of it as a solution to your future living situation. I also like the degree of thought you put into how you want to suspend it and the structural stability of the system that would do so. Also, I really liked the mini plant in your prototype!

I like the prototype. I also like the adaptability of the planter being able to hang or stand to fit the environment. Your presentation was well thought out I like that you have backup design ideas.

This is a cool project since you are planning on using it after this project. Your prototype gives a good representation of what the final product will look like. You have a good idea of what materials you will need to build this. How much weight do you plan on this supporting?

The sliding shelf on the bottom is a good idea. Consider how you would secure the shelf. You could also make retractable legs.
