Upcycle Project: Kelp Forest Lamp

This is my upcycling project! I decided to follow a Biomorphism aesthetic. Biomorphism emerged in the early 20th century and emphasizes organic forms, natural patterns, and a sense of movement and fluidity to evoke lifelike qualities. Artists such as Jean Arp and Joan Miró are notable figures associated with biomorphic forms in their work.

As you can see, I have made a lamp. This lamps original design was to shine light through glass beads mimicking the way light shines through seaweed forests. The round glass warps the light, shining organic rounded lines of colored light onto nearby walls.
