This is the final design of the Group 1 electric vehicle project. Our group decided to combine sharp and complex geometry with a glow and futuristic look to bring a new style to electric cars. The design uses triangles and sharp edges to give the car a new shape not familiar with modern cars. See more with this link to Unrulr: Electric Car Design.
After initial sketching and honing our design approach, we drafted the model in OnShape. This gave us a good enough idea of the proportions, that we were able to iteratively prototype the model out of cardboard, making changes as we went.
