Modern Jungle my Aesthetic *Roots* 😉

In keeping with my obsessive love for houseplants it makes sense that my aesthetic has to do with the way they interact with their surroundings. As I have posted before I love modern architecture. What strikes me about the following instagram posts is the way that the black and white is such an outstanding color to let the varying leaf and pot shapes pop! The leaves and stems are so unique by themselves that they make great focal points in the room. They also bring a theme of life and even warmth into a modern space which typically has a cool feel and can sometimes even feel sterile. The texture and colors of the pots can also really make a difference in the presentation of the plant and space.

These roots tie in with my project as my project is a plant shelf that is made out of a modern/industrial piping system.

This is an awesome aesthetic! It is really clean and busy at the same time. I think that indoor plants bring a lot of life into a living space. One issue that I have with the first picture is the fact that it would be crazy difficult to cook with so many plants nearby. I feel that I would be constantly bumping into things while trying to cut and cook. Even so, it is pretty cool to look at and hard not to find satisfying even if you are having to walk carefully!

I honestly love this aesthetic. It’s similar to the aesthetic I used for my hydroponics system although I didnt realize it’s actually a thing. Very cool!
