Industrial Design Aesthetic Upcycle project

I decided to do a wall hanger using old sparkplugs and wood following the Industrial Design Aesthetic. As it has to be an upcycle project, I will get the spark plugs from my own car and the wood from a scrap material place. In today’s world, it’s more important than ever to find ways to reduce waste and reuse materials. With the use of readily available materials, this project is both eco-friendly and cost-effective. Upcycling is a creative solution to this problem, as it transforms discarded items into new and useful objects. In this project, we aim to upcycle old spark plugs and wood to create a unique and functional wall hanger.

This upcycle project will follow the Industrial Design Aesthetic because the pieces I’ll be using are meant to be strictly functional and not meant to be beautiful when they were created. The result will (or at least I will try) be a beautiful wall cloth hanger that I will further enjoy because its practicality, the cost of making it and the fact that it will remind me about car engines (which I love).
