For my final project, I created a globe inspired by the Fauvism aesthetic. The three key characteristics of Fauvism that I used are non-naturalistic color, high contrast and vibrant palettes, and apparent visible brushstrokes.
I used the CU Boulder art studio and wood shop to do most of my work and the staff is always very helpful. I made the stand out of 2×4 planks and created the globe out of styrofoam which I painted over with acrylics.
