Project 2: Electric Vehicle Model

Myself and a team of four individuals were challenged with constructing a 3D front-view design of a unique electric vehicle. We brainstormed and sketched ideas, followed by CAD, then began constructing our vision out of cardboard. The project emphasized having minimal color, and rather to focus on geometrical aspects of the product. The design our team developed is loosely based on the style where the Telo Truck’s front end & engine bay are nearly non-existent. The functional benefit of creating a platform with this layout is being able to have a full sized bed or cargo van area, that all fits within the wheelbase of a compact city car. Our car has more of a convertible vibe, and we chose to add some functional aero as well to ensure electric motors receive proper cooling, and endurance efficiency maintains maximized.
