Here is my upcycle project. For this project, I decided to go with a pirate aesthetic. I decided that I wanted to make a compass that always points towards Hazels, similar to Jack Sparrow’s compass that always points towards what you want most. The upcycle material that I used was a piece of wood from an old bookshelf. I came up with a design and used a wide selection of tools to cut out the pieces needed. I did a lot of work with wiring and fitting all the electronics into the compass housing, and then stained it at the end.
