Here is a small pre-upcycle project I made, a adjustable phone stand that is higher than my Thrustmaster wheel so I can use the phone as a sim dashboard.

I really like this design loop, on top of your project. You went above and beyond with a descriptive design loop. Beyond it being just descriptive, you even have prices of things you thought you might have to pay for… so you have a budget in there as well. It is good to plan ahead, which it looks like you have done. Good work.. Excited to see the outcome.
This is a great idea! I’m curious. did you have any other ideas to make this phones stand, or did you stick with only designing the “mechanical arm” type of look? Also, is there any way you could make this something that has adjustable height? I guess that would be an idea for a project that goes beyond the scope of an upcycle, but I think it would be cool. I think this is a great product for what you intended to create.
Hi Jian, I really like the idea of the phone stand in addition to your interesting design loop. How are you going to solve the fact that it could be a little low? maybe make a box or some type of stand under it.. Anyway its such a creative thought to use door hinges to make it. Great job!
