Very cool project! The aesthetic was really well done. It is very obvious that you put a lot of work in this project and it’s very clear in the final product. Great job!

I think this was such a cool idea for you to pursue. The pictures that you showed of other knives that had this treatment done to them were so cool. I was also interested in the process that you outlined. It looked like a lot of fun using a blow torch. Good job!

This was an awesome idea. It is crazy how unique each iteration turns out. You could apply this to so many different items to make them personalized to you. I wonder if you did this for long enough you could manage to obtain consistent results across many metal objects.

Great presentation. It was good to see the details of the process. The colors look really cool as the knife is in motion. In the future, do you plan on using chemicals to get different colors or testing on different metals?

Your documentation of this process is sublime. Great photos! I enjoyed seeing how many tests you did beforehand, and I believe each test, along with your final execution, turned out incredibly unique and beautiful. Awesome job and I hope you one day have the chance to get your hands on some titanium! Cool knife tricks too. Thanks for sharing!

  • Very interesting. This is a unique aesthetic that you don’t see a lot of. The scientific process behind it was eye opening. Do you plan on anodizing other metal items you have other than your knifes?
