Upcycling Aesthetic – Organic Architecture

I have always been interested in the aesthetic of organic architecture. It blends together buildings and nature together into one. I choose this aesthetic because ever since I saw Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright I been hooked on it. He connected nature by having his buildings contain a lot of stone and cantilevers to match with the trees and stone outcroppings surrounding his buildings.

After Frank Lloyd Wright many additional architectures have followed in his footsteps. Down below are two more examples of house built in more recent times that follow the aesthetic. In the first image it can be seen how the house blends in with rock outcropping. Additionally the house’s roof is separated into multiple sections and overhangs, copying the nature of rocks with cracks and no perfectly flat surface. The second image is of the interior of a house with this aesthetic in mind. Everything flows into one another, and even incorporated a  natural rock into the structure of the room.
