I went ahead and leaned into the swooping and curving lines; I’m not sure if it will yield a more functional tool over a straight rendition but I think it looks much more elegant and I think that is more important for me. There are a couple of version with only 2 hand positions but I don’t think they are worth making since it is a much more common tool shape/design which can be bought off the shelf. For sketch E I had the idea of adding a modular handle to the back side of the tool for an increase in handling options. I don’t think this is viable because the pick angle relative to the handle is too shallow and would cause the tool to pop off. I have settled on the stylistic sketch G but ended up reigning in the lines a bit to follow more conventional angles and geometry.

The shape you have drawn is very aesthetically pleasing, and looks like it will be functional (I don’t know as I’ve never gone ice climbing or held a pick, maybe add a hilt on the other side of the handle for added support?). Have you put thought into how you are going to build it and if the swooping edges will make it more difficult to machine? I look forward to see how it will turn out!
Nice sketch. Do you plan on having space for two hands on the main grip like a krukinogi, or just one like a traditional tool?
