So far I have successfully printed some of the most vital components of my project. The bevel gears fit together very nicely but the shaft pinion and gear base don’t fit very well. The holes on the gears are too small for the shaft and base so I plan on taking a dremel tool to them in order to make them fit correctly. Next, I have to cad up a plate gear that is going to sit on top of the base gear and act as a surface to place my items. I plan on having the final plate finished up by the middle of next week.

Ah! I love gears design, they are so cool. and to top that you are making 3D printed gears. This is pretty amazing tbh.
My mind is trying to think all different kind of gears one can print, anyway holding my thoughts for now.

3D printed gears tend to be pretty finicky, I hope everything works out! The purple color is nice too, it definitely stands out.

Wow Jose, you’ve made quite a lot of progress! I’m excited to see how this turns out. Are you going to paint this a different color?
