I really like this project because there is so much that you can do with it. I like the fact that it is also serving a purpose. Seeing how the aesthetic develops from here until the final version of the holder will be cool to watch. Maybe for the final version you could incorporate a stapler or sharpener or something!
Your project sounded really sweet and like it can be something you can actually use for a long time. It sounds like there are a lot of ways you can go in terms of aesthetics, I’m excited to see what you settle on.
This sounds like a great product that you can use and hold on to for a long time. And you have a lot of opportunities in creating a unique aesthetic that’s less conventional. I’m looking forward to the progress on this!
I really like this project idea. It is simple but could turn out really nice! It seemed like at the end of the presentation there an inspiration hit to make the pencil holder geometrically imperfect. I think it could be really cool to go for an aesthetic with mountains and clouds or some sort of Colorado landscape, it would really personalize your piece. Either way, it might be a good idea to brainstorm the aesthetic for a while before your go for something you can truly perfect. Fantastic job making a prototype as a visual. I can’t wait to see where you go with the final product. Good luck!
Great functionality and a good base for many aesthetics, looking forward to see what you decide to do next for the project! Maybe you can incorporate a pencil sharper in it and make it more functional?
Clean and simple idea that you can definitely maximize in terms of unique aesthetic ideas. Curious to see how it develops and whether or not the scope is going to change. The functionality of the artifact is evident and would useful and desirable to a large demographic.
This will be the most aesthetic pen/pencil holder out there! It would be cool to incorporate the mill or lathe into making the design. What will the pen/pencil holder be made of? Interested to see how this turns out!
I like how open ended your project was. I think you have a great idea and it would be something that you can use for years to come. I would be interested in seeing you develop the idea of the geometrical aesthetic and I am glad to hear that you are using your hat rack from the upcycle project.
