I have added a base to my rotating shelves but I cannot decide if I want to add more square tubing to make the base look like simplified mountains. Even after the Design Review I have decided not to add clear acrylic or chicken wire of any sort to the inside of the basket as I am confident that the pots I have are large enough in terms of height and weight not to slip off of the shelves or underneath them. I believe that adding that element would make the appearance feel cluttered and less modern.

Hello Jamie! I really like your design and how your 3D sketch present it. I think you have done a fine work designing it. As for your thought about adding more square tubing or not, I would like to point out something relevant but doesn’t answer your question. I can clearly notice that some areas have high stresses and forces on them but do not have enough support. I would recommend that you add more links or trusses to your design at various locations to both give it more strength and add a nice touch. Good luck on making this!
