Main Project Aesthetic // Kensue Kiatoukaysy

For my main project aesthetic I wanted to go with an Illumination Aesthetic as shown below in the gas station. This is an aesthetic where light illuminates any object in order to bring more color and depth to the object as a whole.

The project I wanted to do was inspired by Where they make acrylic swords and put a light through them to make it light up as shown below.

The opposite aesthetic of the one I want to do for my main project would have to be the dark aesthetic. This is exactly what it sounds like, very dark themes and a lot of black. The two photos below shows this aesthetic.

The image below is what I believe would be the dark aesthetic integrated into what i’d like to do for my project. A dark themed sword.

These both seem like really cool aesthetics to explore. To a certain extent they could go hand in hand, like a dark frame with illuminated components that are highlighted more against a striking black background
