With Groundhog Day giving us more time in Winter, I have been dreaming of Spring and warmer weather more and more. For my upcycling project, I am going to be going with a pastoral aesthetic to help satisfy that desire for Spring while I am waiting. This aesthetic is generally composed of soft colors and natural elements, and is meant to evoke the countryside in Spring.

This aesthetic almost seems dream-like; how do you plan to capture this vibe in your project?
Hi Josh, I like the description of dream-like for this aesthetic. I want to play with lighting for my project to help create it.
This seems like an interesting aesthetic to choose for up cycling. Do know what you’re going to make and or what medium you’ll use?
Hi Maddie, coming up with an idea for upcycling materials in this project has been tougher than I thought, but I think that I would want to some kind of sculpture or small set piece that uses lighting to help capture the feeling of spring.
