Upcylcing Progress: Book Page Mushrooms

As a recap for anyone who might not have read my previous post, I am going to make a 3D art shelf type project made out of pages from a book I had a duplicate copy of.  It’s going to be made into a sort of mushroom shape as well as dipped into tea to color the pages using a natural kind of dye.

I have not made much progress in the construction of this project, but I have slowly been coloring more pages of the book using tea to look like the above.

My setup remains close to the same with fewer mugs than pictured above, but still a few mugs to make the process go by faster.  The general shape I plan to make still resembles the below.

However, the pages will be folded to more closely resemble the below images.

My plans for the next week are to finish dying the pages so that they can dry and I can begin folding them into their desired shapes and forms.  Some glue and trials will most likely proceed the final form.
