Project Description
For my final project in Aesthetics of Design, I built a Standing Garden. Originally, it was intended to be a garden made out of discarded wooden shipping pallets, but I settled for purchased pine from Home Depot. With this, I went for a simple, suburban, clean aesthetic in a honey brown stain with chalkboard paint that allows the user to customize their garden and identify with plants their growing where. I thoroughly enjoyed this project as it revived my love for art projects, and plan to make another one for my mother out of better quality wood in the near future.
