The stand turned out great! I like the look of the podium. Only thing that might improve it would be to use higher quality print setting for the 3D printer. Adding the potentiometer was a great idea!
At the time of our design reviews you had your primary levitation mechanism functioning and it appears like the aesthetic developed well to match the final product. Your aesthetic iterations were very diverse and it was interesting see how the visual design evolved into its current form. Adding the potentiometers to control the voltage was added task but I think it made the mechanism much more fluid and reliable. Good Work!
I think this project is a very cool thing to do and you made it the perfect Colorado aesthetic with the Coors beer. I also am interested in how you knew all of the different magnets to use. Did the kit you bought on ebay come with directions or just strictly the magnets? How long would you say this whole project took you? It looks like you made a lot of the parts on your own and it must have taken lots of time. Your display also looked awesome at expo. Good job! Are you going to sell it in the future?

I saw your project at expo and was in awe with how it turned out. I like how you tried a design, didn’t like it, and wasn’t afraid to try another design. Good explaination on how the magnets work. Perhaps it would be better to get stronger magnets to increase the weight allowed. Great job.
Very impressed woth how stable the magnetic stand seems to work. It also seems like you put a lot of thought into the aesthetic you wanted and its cool that you are very happy with the way it turned out
This is a great project, and it was cool to hear the backstory behind why you chose to do this design. The finished product wound up looking great, and the color/texture of the stand looked cool with the levitation effect. The different iterations also really showed how you came to your final design, and your presentation was very informative!
I like that you explained the background into why you like this project, I am a big hiker too and it is amazing you found this at a little pub in Idaho. It was also interesting hearing about your different design inspirations and how those ended up turning out. Very neat project! Great job!
