Final Stretch Progress: Dynamic Infinity Mirror

Right now I am current sitting in the prototype lab of the Idea Forge printing the casing for my dynamic infinity mirror. I have spent the past two weekdays here making sure everything goes smoothly and so far everything has! I only have one part left to print, which I will leave overnight because it will take so long to print (~10 hrs). At the end of printing, I will have been working the Lulzbot for ~23 hrs. Nearly an entire day… But everything looks good and should pay off.

I also have all of my coding done, so I am just waiting to finish printed and purchasing the glass and mirror I need. Otherwise everything else, down to the nut and bolt is in my possession and just waiting to be installed.

I have a slight amount of coding left to do on my Arduinos, mostly just some timing stuff and tweaking the calibration of my servo.

I’m beginning to get really excited now that everything is coming out alright, to be honest I was fairly nervous the few days leading up to printing for I have only printed once and definitely not on this scale. I should be finished with all of my assembly by Monday morning giving me a week to relax before presentations.

    This looks really cool! It’s very clear that you put a lot of time in your project. The LED code seems to be running great. I’m excited to see your final product!

    This looks really well done. Seems like you’ve put in a lot of time on the coding and making sure everything checks out before you make that long print! I can’t wait to see the final product!
