Design Preview – Minimalist/Contemporary Tabletop Fountain

Background 

The design I decided to go with is a Minimalist/Contemporary miniature tabletop water fountain. I was mainly inspired by minimalist architecture and interior design aesthetics when creating this design. The aesthetic I was going for is characterized by minimalism, a light color palette, geometric shapes, sleek lines, and modern design.

Design Goals

• Must easily fit on my coffee table
• Not too difficult to model using Solidworks
• Minimal yet aesthetically pleasing
• Doesn’t require more than one water pump
• Creates a steady water flow

Current Plan

I used AI to create the image above to my specifications, as I have not yet finished creating the 3D model of the fountain, however, I plan to finalize the model soon and start 3D printing the first prototype. The fountain will be fully 3D printed. I also plan on purchasing a water pump and all of the necessary wiring very soon.
